It was a privilege to work with Kevin Kowalick during our 19th Annual Julius Scher Lectureship on Patient Safety and Healthcare Quality at Jefferson Abington Hospital. Design Your Dream Future: A System for Career Growth with the ATD Greater Philadelphia Chapter was a thoughtful, energizing, and very practical experience. In the lead-up to the session, Michele and Kevin from Offshoot Professional Development were deeply attentive to the group’s needs, taking time to understand what participants were hoping to work through in their careers. During the workshop, they guided the group through their professional growth blueprint with optimism, empathy, and genuine encouragement. Just as important, they created space for participants to actually do the work. Time was built in to clarify professional goals, map out concrete next steps, and think through potential roadblocks. The reflection and conversation with others in the room had a great impact. For most participants, it was a meaningful and very worthwhile use of time, and they left with clear next steps and a renewed sense of momentum as evidenced by highly positive post-workshop evaluations. I highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to reflect on their goals and take practical steps toward their next chapter.

Kevin helped me find direction and clarity during a time when I was burnt out and felt like I no longer knew what the right next step for my career was.
